No Longer A Problem
When Emma was just four months old, her pediatrician found a heart murmur. We were sent to St. John's Mercy Children’s Hospital. We monitored her heart for a few months, thinking that after she turned one year old, we would have to have surgery. Her heart got worse and the doctors decided we should have the surgery at 10 months of age. The procedure went well. She recovered nicely. We went back annually, then bi-annually to have her heart looked at. This year we were told that she is cured. Her heart is no longer a problem or a worry to anyone. I cannot thank the doctors and everyone who was there for us enough. Thank you, St. John's Mercy doctors and staff.
