St. John’s Mercy Children’s Hospital is a comprehensive Children’s Hospital, including a pediatric emergency department and the only Level I Trauma Center, the only Level III (highest level) Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and the only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in St. Louis County. St. John’s Mercy Children’s Hospital is designated by the National Association of Children’s Hospitals and Related Institutions (NACHRI) for excellence in healthcare to children.
